Vera has very strong links to the Togher Community and to Togher Family Centre. She has lived in the Togher area for 55 years and her children attend the preschool in TFC. Vera brings a wealth of advocacy and volunteer experience to the Board of Trustees along with 50 years of involvement in the catering industry. Vera supports with the organisation of Cork South COPD Support Group, which aims to improve the lives of people living with a chronic lung disease. Vera holds a diploma in “Women in the Community” and is an advocate for women in the Togher area. She is an organiser of the active women’s group.
