Situated in Tom O’Sullivan House in our Shournagh Grove premises, The Pod is available to school children in 4th class to 6th class (10 – 12yrs). The Pod provides outings each term and operates a drop-in service and one to one support weekly. The Pod is part-funded under the UBU CETB.

The young people get support with their school homework and actively engage in a mix of structured small group activities and freeplay which are focused on the 7 personal and social developmental outcomes as outlined in UBU guiding documents. • Communication skills • Confidence and agency • Planning and problem solving • Relationships • Creativity and imagination • Resilience and determination • Emotional intelligence
