He previously lived in the Togher area and has remained committed to the locality and community since this time. Both of Henry’s sons attended Togher Family Centre. Henry is deeply committed to community activism and represented the Togher area as a Cork City Counsellor for 10 years. In addition, Henry has vast knowledge and experience of the charity sector. He has previously sat of the Board of Trustees for Cork City Partnership and is also currently involved with both Pieta House and Meals on Wheels. He also held a shop steward post for 20 years. Henry is proud of how Togher Family Centre has grown and supported the community over the past 50 years.
