Elaine co-ordinates: the operations of the Early Years Team, Family Support Service, Youth Services and various innovative projects throughout the service.
Elaine Barry has been working at Togher Family Centre since 2011. She has significant front-line experience including 13 years’ working in Early Years Education with children from the ages of 6 months to 5 years. In addition to her Operations role Elaine has also been a part of the research team in Togher Family Centre contributing to the publications “We Shout A Little Louder (2016)” and the “A Case of Mistaken Identity (2015)”. Elaine has completed training in numerous Early Years courses enhancing her role in the organisation.

Elaine’s areas of special interest include innovative work activities that involve starting up and carrying out projects, specifically within the Early Years and Community and Voluntary Sector. She likes to lead and support colleagues in their roles to make decisions. Elaine plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organisation. She ensures that compliance is efficiently and effectively implemented, meeting national standards.
