Dr Niamh Sheridan is the Director of Togher Family Centre. She holds a Doctorate in Education in Leadership from Dublin City University (DCU) and also a Masters of Science in Management from DCU. In addition Niamh holds an Arts Degree, Higher Diploma in Youth and Community Work and a Masters in Applied Social Studies from Maynooth University.
Niamh has worked in the community and voluntary sector for 20 years. She has spent the last 14 years in leadership roles within community organisations specialising in the management and revitalisation of family centered facilities. Niamh’s areas of expertise include organisational change management, resource management, innovation, leadership and quality in service provision.
Niamh is the lead researcher at Togher Family Centre and has designed and conducted qualitative and quantitative research for organisations such as schools, community organisations and not-for-profit voluntary agencies in addition to research conducted for the centre itself. Niamh has presented at conferences including the UNESCO Child and Family Conference, Early Childhood Ireland Conference and the European Agency for Inclusion and Special Needs Education Conference among others.
