Marion O’Malley is a Assistant Supervisor in Togher Family Centre. She holds a QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education. She has participated in on-going professional development training including English as a second language, First Aid, HACCP, Polish classes, Elklan Speech and Language, Child Protection and implementing The High Scope Approach. Recently Marion has completed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training.In October 2018 Marion did a three day First Aid Responder course.

Marion has been working in the Togher Family Centre since 1996.  She has worked in New Initiative Pre School (now known as Tús an Bhóthair) for the last 6 years, and previous  to this she worked in the Baby room for 13 years with babies aged 3 months to 12 months. Marion also worked in TFC Pre-school for two years. Marion also has experience working in the After School’s programme (now Happy Hub) and was on the organising committee for the Togher Recreation Summer Scheme for two years. Marion’s area of interest is nature and gardening, encouraging the children to nurture and care for nature.  Marion is currently undertaking QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
